Description
An ultrasonic diffuser vibrates water to create a cool mist to which you can add a few drops of essential oil. It scents a room with no flame or heat; our guide to diffusers in Ayurveda covers how to use one and the precautions. The device comes without any oil.
This round model on golden feet has a 500 ml tank, a marble-effect lid and two buttons: one for the night light (several colours or off), the other for the mist with a 1-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour or continuous timer. It runs on a low-voltage mains adapter; we only sell the European-plug version, so UK customers will need a plug adapter. The manufacturer states quiet operation (under 36 dB) and over 8 hours on a full tank.
Use little oil (3 to 5 drops), ventilate the room and keep diffusing to sessions of 30 to 60 minutes. Avoid diffusing near a baby, a pregnant woman, someone with asthma or a pet, and rinse the tank regularly.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it without essential oil?
Yes: it then produces a plain water mist. Add oil only if you tolerate it well.
What water should I use?
Room-temperature tap water is fine; if it is very hard, filtered water limits deposits. Empty and wipe the tank after use.
Will it work in the UK?
All variants come with a European-plug adapter; in the UK you will need a standard EU-to-UK plug adapter.
