Description
A tongue scraper is the simplest tool of the Ayurvedic morning routine (dinacharya): you draw it from the back of the tongue to the front, five to ten times, before eating or drinking. This set contains two U-shaped tongue scrapers in 304 stainless steel, one to use and one spare, or one for each person in the bathroom.
Stainless steel does not tarnish and handles hot water and soap; it lacks the patina of copper but needs less care. The ends of the arms are ridged for grip. The manufacturer does not give exact dimensions for the U model; you hold it by both arms with the arc lying flat on the tongue.
Use it without pressing: the gesture should never hurt. If your tongue is irritated, you have a mouth sore or wear braces, ask your dentist before using it. It comes on top of brushing your teeth, not instead of it.

Copper or stainless steel?
Both do the same job. Stainless steel does not darken and is easy to wash; copper needs polishing now and then. Our guide compares the two.

Rinse it under hot water after each use, wash it with soap once a day and let it air-dry.
