Description
A lidded burner is the traditional vessel for cones, resins on charcoal or powdered incense: smoke rises through the pierced lid while the ember stays sheltered. To choose the incense itself, see our dedicated guide.
This model is a zinc alloy tripod with a brushed antique-bronze finish, weighing about 190 g, with a raised lotus frieze on the body and a lid pierced in a lotus-leaf pattern. To be honest: it is not solid brass, even though it looks like it. It is sold without a stand (the stand shown in some of the manufacturer’s photos is a separate item we do not offer).
The metal heats up while incense burns: handle it by the lid knob once cool, set it on a heat-resistant mat and never leave it unattended. Air the room afterwards.

Can I use incense sticks in it?
It is designed for cones, resins and powdered incense. A stick can stand in sand inside it, but the lid will not close over it.
Is it brass?
No, it is zinc alloy with a bronze-coloured patina. It is sturdy, but lighter than a solid brass piece.
